The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda Ms. Robinah Nabbanja came to Rome, Italy to represent His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the Italy Africa Summit in January, 2024. On this occasion the Italian Government introduced the “Mattei Plan: a bridge for common growth”, which includes interventions in various priority areas such as education and training, health and agriculture, water and energy.

On 30th, the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister attended the 5th ECAM Council where she received on behalf of H.E. President Museveni a Social and Economic Commitment Award, commending H.E. President Museveni for welcoming refugees from several African countries and beyond. Meetings with the Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mr. Antonio Tajani, IDLO, IOM, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Leonardo SpA, De Lorenzo, AVSI were held by the Rt. Hon Prime Minister on the sidelines on the Italy Africa Summit L'On.

Robinah Nabbanja, Primo Ministro della Repubblica dell'Uganda, si è recata a Roma per rappresentare Sua Eccellenza il Presidente Yoweri Kaguta Museveni al Vertice Italia-Africa del gennaio 2024. In questa occasione il Governo italiano ha presentato il “Piano Mattei: un ponte per la crescita comune”, che prevede interventi in diverse aree prioritarie come l'istruzione e la formazione, la sanità e l'agricoltura, l'acqua e l'energia.

Il 30 gennaio, l'On. Primo Ministro ha partecipato al 5° Consiglio dell'ECAM dove ha ricevuto, a nome di S.E. il Presidente Museveni, un premio per l'impegno sociale ed economico profuso da S.E. il Presidente Museveni nell'accoglienza dei rifugiati provenienti da diversi Paesi africani e non solo. Incontri con l'On. Antonio Tajani, Ministro degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, IDLO, OIM, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Leonardo SpA, De Lorenzo, AVSI si sono svolti a margine dell'Italy Africa Summit e dell’ECAM.
